Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, including O-ARM and C-Arm-assisted surgical imaging
• Provide portable/bedside imaging across adult acute care, ICU, ED, NICU, and the OR with professionalism
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely and according to protocols
• Maintain radiation safety practices and infection prevention standards at all times
• Accurately chart exams in Epic and communicate findings effectively with the care team
• Support a high-volume environment — assist with 150–200 exams/day on weekdays and 100–120 on weekends when needed
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergent imaging needs in a timely manner
• Collaborate with surgeons and perioperative teams during intraoperative imaging and specialized procedures

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification preferred (ARRT registration desirable)
• BLS certification required or preferred as noted
• OBMI certification considered a plus
• Minimum 1 year of radiography experience (hospital experience with surgery and fluoroscopy required)
• Hands-on experience with O-ARM and C-Arm imaging is required
• Familiarity with PACS and Epic charting system
• Comfortable working block weekend schedule (Fri/Sat/Sun) and participating in on-call coverage

Education

• Completion of an accredited radiography program (preferred)
• ARRT (R) certification preferred; BLS certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiography and Fluoroscopy (including O-ARM and C-Arm procedures)
• Portable/bedside imaging techniques
• PACS and Epic proficiency for image management and charting
• Contrast media preparation and administration
• Radiation safety and infection prevention / isolation precautions
• Experience with GI studies, ERCP, barium studies and a broad range of trauma and extremity imaging
• Familiarity with equipment brands such as GE, Carestream and Fuji
• Ability to work in high-acuity settings: OR, ICU, ED, NICU
