Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 05-31-2026

End Date: 08-30-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts with one weeknight call until 7:00 AM next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub independently for cranial procedures and neuro-trauma cases
Assist with total joint replacements and orthopedic trauma surgeries
Prepare and maintain sterile fields for a variety of specialties including urology, ENT, and general OR cases
Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety
Respond promptly to call requirements within 15 minutes
Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with 18 cases per day across 11 OR suites

Qualifications

Current CST certification preferred but not required
BLS certification required
Strong experience scrubbing orthopedic trauma and total joint procedures
Ability to independently perform cranial procedures
Comfortable taking neuro-trauma call and general OR assignments
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records
Experience with DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
Knowledge of level II trauma protocols and procedures
Strong understanding of sterile technique and patient safety standards
Ability to handle a variety of surgical cases including neuro, ortho, urology, and ENT
