Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac step-down care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor cardiac rhythms on Philips telemetry and interpret EKGs with precision
Administer non-titrating drips and manage CPAP and high-flow oxygen therapies
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support pre-transplant and post-esophagectomy patients
Float to sister telemetry units when census demands, bringing your expertise wherever it is needed most

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma cardiac telemetry experience
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to start (two attempts allowed)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and EKG analysis
Competent with sterile technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Comfortable floating across multiple telemetry units
Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
