Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable start times between 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM, primarily covering 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, with on-call requirements

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery care to post-surgical patients
Monitor cardiac strips and respond quickly to any changes in patient condition
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient transitions from OR to recovery
Support patients through ortho, trauma, cardiac, urology, pulmonary, and GI procedures
Float to support the surgery center when needed and help colleagues with lunch relief
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic while delivering compassionate, high-quality care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
ED or ICU experience strongly preferred
Epic EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

PACU nursing with strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
Comfort managing vents, CPAP, and BiPAP equipment
Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
