End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties
Float between MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation units
Monitor and manage patients on Heparin drips and other medications
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to new units and patient populations while maintaining excellent care standards
Support staffing needs by filling gaps and helping during low-census periods when needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
Neuro experience preferred
Alaris pump and EPIC experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across diverse patient populations
Ability to float within a 60-mile zone and adapt to different units
Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and reading strips
Experience with adult-geriatric patients and post-surgical care
Flexible and reliable with scheduling needs
