Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across MedSurg Telemetry and Progressive Care Units
Manage titratable drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias with confidence
Deliver exceptional post-procedural care for cardiac cath and CABG patients
Collaborate with charge nurses and nursing assistants to optimize patient outcomes
Float between campuses to support diverse patient populations and care settings

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience
Comfortable managing multiple titratable drips
Strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills
Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts

Knowledge & Skills

Dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac monitoring
Titratable drip management across multiple medications
Post-MI and post-cardiac cath patient care
Geriatric and orthopedic patient populations
BiPAP, CPAP, and heated high-flow oxygen management
Professional communication and adaptability across units
