Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to residents promoting comfort and quality of life
Lead and mentor Resident Assistants with coaching and training on proper nursing techniques
Follow each resident's individual plan of care to deliver personalized support
Administer medications accurately and on time while monitoring for safety
Uphold the Choices Philosophy of Care by treating every resident with dignity and respect
Maintain a safe environment using universal precautions and strong assessment skills

Qualifications

Active Alaska LPN licensure required
Current BLSP (CPR) certification from American Heart Association required
1 year of Long Term Care nursing experience preferred
New graduates welcome with 8-12 month preceptorship at Heritage Place

Education

Associate's degree in nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and clinical leadership skills
Ability to coach and educate nursing support staff
Commitment to safety standards and infection control practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Dedication to resident-centered care and respect
