Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with rotating weeknight and weekend call coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties
Assist with general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and robotic procedures using the DaVinci Xi system
Collaborate with a tight-knit OR team to ensure smooth case flow and patient safety
Float between College Station and Bryan campuses as needed to support patient care
Respond to call within 30 minutes to support after-hours emergencies and trauma cases

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
BLS certification required
Minimum 2-3 years of OR experience with robotics Xi
Previous travel experience required
Comfortable with a wide range of cases including general, ortho, GYN, ENT, and minor trauma

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing and sterile technique
Experience with DaVinci Xi robotic system
Familiarity with Surgical Information Systems (SIS) EMR
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced OR environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
