Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center
Support patients in NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac units with advanced ventilator management
Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Utilize cutting-edge equipment including Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and V-60 Respironics
Make independent clinical judgments while providing compassionate, high-quality care throughout the facility

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
Proven NICU experience essential
Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ventilator management across multiple platforms
Excellent assessment and critical thinking abilities
Comfortable working across all inpatient areas including ER and surgical units
Collaborative approach with physicians and care teams
Adaptable to rotating weekends and holidays
