End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate in all surgical specialties including CV, Neuro, Ortho, and General procedures
Support robotic-assisted surgeries using both Mako and DaVinci systems
Ensure smooth OR operations during CABGs, craniotomies, total joints, and trauma cases
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient care
Precept new staff members and share your expertise when needed
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support team needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital OR experience
Proven robotics experience with Mako and DaVinci systems
Strong background circulating CV cases including CABGs
Experience with Neuro, Ortho, and General surgery procedures
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise circulating complex surgical cases across multiple specialties
Comfort with both Mako and DaVinci robotic platforms
Strong knowledge of CV, Neuro, Ortho, and General surgery protocols
Ability to handle trauma and emergent cases with confidence
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
