Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with neuro, critical care, and trauma diagnoses in an acute care setting
• Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans to improve patient outcomes
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate high-quality patient care
• Document patient progress accurately in EPIC electronic health records
• Manage a daily caseload of 7-8 patients per 8-hour shift, ensuring thorough and compassionate care

Qualifications

• 2+ years of acute care speech-language pathology experience
• Current Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license
• CCC-SLP certificate from ASHA
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Experience with EPIC charting system

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical evaluation and treatment skills for acute care patients
• Working knowledge of neuro, critical care, and trauma patient populations
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records
• Effective caseload management and time management skills
