Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care across MedSurg Tele and PCU units in a float pool role
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips for patients with diverse conditions
• Titrate critical drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Nitro with confidence
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate care to post-MI, post-procedural, and post-CABG patients
• Adapt quickly to different units and campuses, ensuring seamless patient care
• Maintain patient safety and positive outcomes in a dynamic acute care environment

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience with at least 1 year in a PCU or stepdown setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts
• Strong experience with telemetry monitoring and interpreting strips
• Comfortable titrating IV drips and managing a variety of medications
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records
• Willingness to float between campuses and units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of cardiac rhythms and telemetry interpretation
• Expertise in titrating critical drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced settings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Effective time management and prioritization in a float pool environment
• Understanding of PCU and MedSurg nursing standards and protocols
