Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide thorough dental cleanings and scaling to maintain patient oral health
- Capture and develop dental X-rays to aid in accurate diagnosis
- Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Administer local anesthesia and apply fluoride treatments as needed
- Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth and efficient patient care
- Maintain detailed patient records and update medical histories with precision
- Sterilize instruments and uphold strict infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Wisconsin
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Strong clinical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and patient-care rapport
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of dental anatomy and periodontal disease
- Proficiency with dental practice management software
- Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols
- Skill in interpreting X-rays and identifying oral health concerns
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
