Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide gentle and thorough dental cleanings for our pediatric patients
• Educate children and parents on effective oral hygiene habits
• Take digital x-rays and assess oral health conditions
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed
• Maintain a sterile and organized treatment area
• Collaborate with the dentist to ensure exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Maryland
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience working with children is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a caring disposition

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of pediatric dental care best practices
• Skilled in taking and interpreting dental x-rays
• Excellent patient education techniques
• Detail-oriented with strong infection control practices
