Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to maintain the highest standards of safety
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) with precision and care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions, empowering them to maintain healthy smiles
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with a friendly team of dental professionals to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent state certification strongly preferred
• Previous experience in a dental office, especially pediatric dentistry, is a plus
• Current CPR certification
• A passion for working with children and helping them feel at ease
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Familiarity with dental software for patient scheduling and records
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Warm and welcoming demeanor to put patients at ease
