Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with braces, aligners, and other orthodontic procedures
• Take and develop dental x-rays and impressions
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Update and maintain accurate patient records
• Manage inventory and ensure dental supplies are stocked
• Provide a warm, compassionate experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification required
• Experience as a dental assistant, preferably in orthodontics
• Proficiency with dental software, Denticon experience a plus
• Current CPR certification
• Strong interpersonal skills and a teamwork mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Skill in taking dental radiographs and impressions
• Ability to use dental practice management software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to infection control and sterilization protocols
