Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral hygiene assessments
• Educate patients on brushing, flossing, and overall oral health
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a smooth workflow
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and operatory rooms

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Attention to detail and a gentle touch
• Ability to work collaboratively with a dental team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of dental software and charting systems
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Organizational skills to manage multiple patients per day
• Commitment to infection control and safety standards
