Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional preventive oral care to patients of all ages
• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene techniques and preventive practices
• Capture high-quality dental x-rays and digital imaging
• Partner with dentists to support treatment plans and procedures
• Maintain the highest standards of infection control and sterilization

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New York state
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
• Experience in a dental practice is preferred but not required
• Detail-oriented and committed to quality care

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental x-rays
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient education
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities
• Familiarity with dental software and charting systems
