Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide gentle, compassionate dental hygiene care to pediatric patients
• Perform dental cleanings, polishings, and fluoride treatments to keep little smiles healthy
• Take dental X-rays and digital images with precision and care
• Educate children and their families on fun, effective oral hygiene habits
• Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a safe, sterile environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Maryland
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Prior experience working with pediatric or special needs patients is a plus
• A warm, patient, and understanding approach to caring for children

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Adept at infection control and sterilization protocols
• Comfortable with dental software for charting and documentation
• Excellent communication skills to connect with young patients and parents
