Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered
• Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the care team
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to deliver high-quality care
• Educate residents and families on care plans and health maintenance

Qualifications

• Active Maine RN or LPN license, or a compact state license where applicable
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or required
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical or religious exemption
• State or federal issued identification and the ability to wear a photo badge at all times
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and documentation expertise
• Knowledge of electronic health records and charting systems
• Infection control practices and patient safety standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
