Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning for safety and comfort
• Take and document vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to nursing staff
• Support residents during meals, feeding, and hydration while respecting their preferences
• Maintain a clean, organized, and comforting environment for every resident
• Communicate attentively with residents, families, and the care team to deliver personalized care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification is strongly preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a genuine passion for helping others
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with the care team
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to pass background checks and comply with facility requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of basic patient care principles and infection control
• Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments
• Attention to detail in documenting care and observations
• Physical stamina to assist with lifting, turning, and supporting residents
