Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and personalized care plans
• Take and develop high-quality dental x-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed treatment records
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a comfortable patient experience
• Maintain a clean, sterilized, and safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in dental hygiene practice, preferably in a clinical setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and infection control protocols
• Skilled in patient assessment, charting, and dental software
• Ability to educate patients effectively on oral health
• Attention to detail and a gentle, caring approach
