Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilized and ready
• Assist the pediatric dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring comfort and safety for young patients
• Take and develop dental X-rays with care and precision
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Radiology/X-ray certification for dental assistants
• Experience working with children is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency in taking dental X-rays
• Understanding of pediatric dental procedures
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with children and parents
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office
