Shift Type: Day shift, 10-hour shifts with varied start times (6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 7:30 AM); plus required call rotation 3 days per month (6:00 PM - 7:00 AM weeknights and 24/7 on weekends)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality X-ray imaging on all floors, in the radiology department, and during surgery
• Operate a variety of imaging equipment, including GE, Carestream portables, OEC C Arms, and O Arm
• Position patients comfortably and safely to capture clear diagnostic images
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure accurate imaging results
• Participate in call shifts and respond within 30 minutes when needed for urgent imaging

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (R) certification required
• California Fluoro permit and California radiology license required
• At least 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Tech
• Experience with GE, general radiology, R&F, Carestream portables, OEC C Arms, or O Arm is preferred
• Willingness to participate in call rotation with a 30-minute response time

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiology imaging techniques and radiation safety
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Excellent patient communication and positioning skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
