Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide attentive patient watching as a sitter to ensure safety and prevent falls
• Assist patients with vital signs, feeding, and ambulation to support their recovery
• Perform turning and positioning to maintain patient comfort and skin integrity
• Conduct hourly rounding to promptly address patient needs
• Flexibly float to various floors and hospitals, adapting to different patient populations and unit dynamics
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Current Washington State CNA license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital experience
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to float to other hospitals in the region
• Flexibility and a positive attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in taking vital signs and documenting them accurately
• Experienced with patient feeding, ambulation, and mobility assistance
• Knowledgeable in turning and positioning techniques
• Skilled in hourly rounding and patient observation
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Adaptable and quick to learn in new environments
