Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to critically ill adults in our 33-bed ICU
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, responding quickly to changes in patient status
• Titrate cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips with precision and confidence
• Manage ventilator settings and weaning protocols for patients on airway support
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapists
• Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed to support the wider team

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nebraska or a compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Driver's license required for compliance
• EPIC charting proficiency preferred
• Willingness to complete quarterly pass/fail orientation exam (open book!)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking in fast-paced ICU settings
• Ability to safely titrate multiple intravenous drips
• Skilled in ventilator management from nasal cannula to full vent support
• Proficient in telemetry strip interpretation and documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptable to floating between units as needed
