Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor and document vital signs and patient status accurately
Assist nursing staff with transfers, bathing, dressing, and feeding
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
Support care plans by reporting changes and participating in shift handoffs

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of California
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Recent experience in a clinical or long-term care setting preferred
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
Willingness to complete background and drug screening as required
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
State-approved CNA training program completion and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals including hygiene, mobility assistance, and feeding
Accurate vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
Familiarity with charting and maintaining clear documentation
Effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Understanding of infection prevention and safety protocols
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
