Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and general diagnostic radiographic exams accurately and efficiently.
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment safely, adhering to radiation protection standards.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and perform intravenous contrast injections as indicated.
• Ensure quality assurance and maintain imaging equipment and supplies for optimal performance.
• Provide compassionate patient care: prepare patients, position correctly, and monitor during procedures.
• Follow departmental policies, ARRT Standards of Ethics, and Enloe Medical Center core values.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient and imaging records.
• Collaborate with radiology team, lead technologists, and clinical staff to support patient flow and diagnostic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the California Department of Public Health (required).
• Approved CPR certification (required).
• ARRT registration (desired/ preferred).
• Radiologic Technologist fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire (required to obtain).
• Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification (desired).
• Advanced CT certification (preferred).
• Desired: Two years diagnostic x-ray experience and one year CT experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly, think critically, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Current CRT (California) required
• ARRT registration preferred; Advanced CT certification preferred
