Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans following established protocols and safety standards
• Prioritize and expedite stroke and trauma imaging with speed and accuracy
• Operate and troubleshoot GE CT equipment, ensuring optimal image quality
• Collaborate with radiologists, techs, and nursing staff to deliver seamless patient care
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR/PACS
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and radiation safety practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and unit best practices

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification and CT modality credentialing (required)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• TMB, RDMS or NMTCB certification where applicable; licensure in modality preferred
• Minimum 2 years of relevant imaging experience (CT/radiology preferred)
• Proven experience with stroke and trauma imaging in a high-acuity setting
• Strong scanning skills, calm under pressure, and excellent teamwork/communication

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in CT imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy
• Familiarity with GE imaging equipment and routine troubleshooting
• Knowledge of PACS, DICOM workflows, and electronic medical records
• Ability to follow trauma/stroke protocols and prioritize emergent scans
• Strong patient positioning, radiation safety, and infection control skills
• Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork abilities
