Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage daily staffing, call-out coverage and staff assignments to ensure safe, efficient operations
• Monitor and approve timecards and ensure payroll accuracy with timely oversight
• Troubleshoot on-the-day equipment, supply and patient-related issues to keep cases moving
• Address staff accountability matters and coach team members toward best practices
• Follow up on and resolve patient safety issues reported through the hospital reporting system
• Support the Epic transition and coordinate unit workflows during go-live activities
• Partner with leadership to maintain high team morale and a positive working environment
• Conduct profile reviews and participate in candidate phone interviews as part of hiring

Qualifications

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of prior leadership or manager experience
• Several years of outpatient endoscopy experience and exposure to therapeutic endoscopy preferred
• Experience with Cerner and Provation; previous Epic experience required and Epic conversion experience preferred
• Prefer candidates with moderate sedation experience
• Strong communication skills, initiative, adaptability and a positive, team-focused attitude
• License to submit indicated (confirm required nursing license as part of application)

Education

• BSN not required (per job data)
• Education not explicitly specified; relevant nursing license and demonstrated supervisory experience expected

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical leadership and staffing management in an endoscopy setting
• Familiarity with GI procedures: EGD, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, ERCP, EUS and fluoroscopy
• Experience with Cerner, Provation and Epic charting systems
• Timecard monitoring, scheduling and workforce coordination
• Patient safety reporting and follow-up processes
• Ability to support high-volume procedural units and fast-paced case flow
