Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care during overnight shifts to promote patient safety and comfort
Perform thorough patient assessments and document clinical findings accurately
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and standards of care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies with calm, evidence-based interventions
Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record system

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential — state licensure required (California licensure preferred given job location)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications a plus
Comfortable working overnight shifts and managing acute patient needs
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with clinical teams
Current immunizations and any required facility clearances (as applicable)

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and triage skills
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) charting
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond in fast-paced settings
Patient-centered approach with strong interpersonal skills
