Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' mobility, functional status, and rehabilitation needs with clear, compassionate assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on restoring mobility and independence
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions for orthopedic, neurological/stroke, balance, spinal, and sports-related conditions
• Progressively document patient status, treatment responses, and discharge planning in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care across multiple points of service
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe mobility, home exercise programs, and fall prevention strategies
• Participate in quality improvement efforts to enhance patient outcomes and rehab service delivery

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapy license (required)
• Healthcare Provider BLS (required)
• Experience or comfort with inpatient physical therapy settings and acute care workflows
• Ability to travel to multiple points of care and provide coverage across facility locations
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to interdisciplinary care

• Patient evaluation and comprehensive assessment skills
• Treatment planning and progressions aimed at mobility restoration
• Techniques to improve functional independence and activities of daily living
• Orthopedic rehabilitation approaches and sports rehab principles
• Neurological and stroke rehabilitation interventions
