Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support daily living activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, and toileting while maintaining dignity
Take and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition
Support nursing staff with safe patient transfers and positioning
Document care accurately and timely in the patient chart
Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment for patients

Qualifications

Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification
Valid CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to pass required background checks and immunization checks
Reliable, compassionate, and able to work overnight shifts
Good communication skills and ability to work well on a care team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL assistance
Measuring and recording vital signs accurately
Infection control and safe handling techniques
Clear communication and teamwork with nurses and multidisciplinary staff
Basic charting/documentation habits and attention to detail
Safe patient transfer and body mechanics
