Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and mobility to maintain comfort and safety
Support efficient room turnover and maintain clean, safe patient environments
Document patient care activities accurately and timely in accordance with facility policy
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of California (required)
Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferred but new grads welcome
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control practices
Skilled at safe patient transfers and use of mobility equipment
Comfortable with charting and basic electronic documentation
Ability to follow care plans and physician/provider directions
Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
