Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Take and document vital signs, monitor patient condition, and report changes promptly
Assist with safe patient mobility, transfers, and positioning
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Maintain accurate, timely charting and communication to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (California) — your ticket to this role
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient care; prior experience is a plus
Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Compliance with facility vaccination and health requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic clinical care and patient safety practices
Skillful at taking vitals and observing/reporting clinical changes
Ability to perform safe patient handling and mobility support
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
Familiarity with documentation best practices and HIPAA awareness
