Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform nutrition-focused physical exams and provide individualized clinical nutrition assessments
• Write and modify enteral nutrition and oral supplement orders within granted privileges after MD initiation
• Collaborate closely with MDs, RNs, SLPs, diabetes educators, and case managers to deliver coordinated care
• Manage a daily caseload (average 10-15 patients/day) and prioritize interventions for highest-impact patients
• Document care accurately in Meditech to ensure continuity and clear communication across the care team

Qualifications

• Clinical dietetics experience focused on critical care, adults, and geriatrics (listed as must-have skills)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (as noted in the posting)
• Comfort using Meditech or similar EMR systems for documentation
• Ability to perform nutrition-focused physical exams and manage enteral nutrition
• Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and cover patients throughout the facility
• NICU experience is a plus to support the NICU RD when needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical dietetics knowledge including enteral nutrition management
• Skill in performing nutrition-focused physical exams and translating findings into care plans
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR workflows and electronic documentation
• Effective interdisciplinary communication and use of mobile communication tools
• Comfort managing moderate daily workloads (10-15 patients/day) and adapting priorities
