Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and meal assistance
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
• Support safe transfers and mobility, following care plans and proper body mechanics
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate clearly with the care team
• Contribute to a positive, resident-centered environment through teamwork and respect

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Demonstrated empathy, strong communication skills, and a team-first attitude
• Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding requirements
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and personal care
• Basic understanding of infection control and resident safety practices
• Good observation skills and the ability to accurately report findings
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage residents and work with interdisciplinary teams
• Reliable time management and the ability to adapt in a busy care setting
