Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and patient condition accurately
Assist nursing staff with timely, clear documentation and charting
Support patient comfort, mobility, and basic hygiene needs
Communicate effectively with the care team and escalate concerns promptly
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in California (required) — you must be eligible to work as a CNA in-state
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and available for per diem assignments
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude
Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and any required immunizations
BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
State-approved CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient care techniques and assisting with ADLs
Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
Knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
Clear, professional communication with patients and team members
Basic familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
