Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms vigilantly to identify changes early
• Assess and document patient condition, interventions, and responses with clarity
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to orders and protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
• Respond promptly to patient calls and emergent situations with calm competence
• Educate patients and families on condition, care plans, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in California (or eligible for California licensure)
• Telemetry experience or comfort working with cardiac monitoring
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or obtainable
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset for cross-disciplinary care

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Patient assessment, IV therapy basics, and medication administration
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting
• Ability to work night shifts and manage workload independently
• Comfort collaborating with physicians, techs, and support staff
