Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate telemetry nursing care to adult patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and intervene promptly based on clinical findings
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Escalate changes in patient condition and participate in timely handoffs

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license for practice in the state of California
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred or obtainable upon hire
• Comfort with telemetry monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Good communication and teamwork skills; dependable and professional

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Completion of an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• IV medication administration and basic medication safety principles
• Electronic health record documentation best practices
• Patient assessment, triage, and clinical decision-making
• Infection control practices and safe patient handling
