Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful direct patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nurse in charge
• Support safe transfers and positioning to prevent injury and maintain comfort
• Document care provided clearly and promptly in the patient record
• Collaborate with nursing staff to carry out care plans and communicate patient needs
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

• Current, active CNA certification valid in California (required)
• Comfortable working day shifts and providing hands-on patient care
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Reliability and professionalism for per diem assignments

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in assisting with activities of daily living and mobility
• Accurate vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety procedures
• Clear documentation and effective communication with nursing staff
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient-centered approach
