Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the emergency department
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients with urgency and clinical confidence
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly and timely
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations with composure and skills
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience in Emergency Room nursing preferred
- Current BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred or available soon
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently on per-diem shifts and adapt quickly
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of ER triage, trauma protocols, and acute care procedures
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
- Skills in IV therapy, medication administration, and emergency interventions
- Excellent communication and teamwork in high-paced environments
- Ability to multitask while maintaining patient safety and quality
