Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care during overnight shifts
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Respond promptly to urgent needs and prioritize patient safety
• Educate patients and families with clear, empathetic communication

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — California license preferred
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or obtainable
• Previous acute care or hospital RN experience preferred
• Comfortable working independently during overnight shifts
• Strong clinical judgment, triage skills, and effective communication

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and documentation
• Medication administration and IV therapy competence
• Familiarity with electronic medical record charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, overnight environment
• Team-oriented approach with strong bedside manner
