Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver integrated, holistic nursing care to Med Surg patients in coordination with a multidisciplinary health care team.
• Assess, plan, and implement safe and efficient patient-centered care that focuses on each patient's priority health needs.
• Partner with patients and their families through education and active participation to help them attain and maintain optimal health.
• Uphold professional nursing standards as outlined by Montana state and national Nurse Practice Acts, striving to exceed expectations.
• Provide expert care to a primarily adult Med Surg population, with occasional pediatric patients.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license that must be actively in good standing
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• At least 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Education

• Graduate from an accredited nursing college

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of Med Surg patient care standards and best practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary care team
• Compassionate and clear communication with patients and families
• Comfortable caring for adult patients with occasional pediatric patients
