Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Maintain post-op surgical sites with precision and care
Perform expert wound care including packing, dressing changes and wound vac management
Manage Foley catheter care and continuous bladder irrigation
Handle ostomy appliance changes and maintenance confidently
Insert and manage nasogastric tubes with suction
Administer TPN and blood products safely
Provide central line care and dressing changes
Conduct bedside shift reports for seamless patient handoffs

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS certification required
At least 2 years of Med Surg experience
Background in post-op surgical areas like vascular, bariatric, urology, general surgery or colorectal preferred

Education

RN licensure from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong time management and efficiency for fast-paced units
Excellent teamwork to collaborate with your 8 RN shift crew
Proficiency with Meditech EMR
Comfort with bariatric equipment, wound vacs, drains and lifts
Outgoing and customer service oriented personality
