Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor telemetry patients and interpret EKGs with precision
Manage CPAP therapy and perform port access confidently
Provide compassionate post-PCI care that makes a real difference
Handle advanced procedures like chest tubes, central lines, and wound vacs
Assess post-dialysis patients and administer blood transfusions safely
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care
Float to support nearby units when needed, showcasing your versatility

Qualifications

Active nursing license in good standing (compact if indicated)
At least 2 years of med/surg experience
BLS required, ACLS preferred
Current NIHSS certification (annual renewal required)

Education

RN degree from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

General med/surg expertise
Telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
CPAP management and port access
Chest tubes, NG tubes, drains, and wound vac experience
Post-dialysis assessments and central line care
Blood transfusions and post-PCI procedures
