Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, full time schedules in 4-week blocks with 4 weekend shifts required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate patient-centered care on bustling Ortho and Med Surg units
Manage patient loads with a usual 6:1 ratio while prioritizing teamwork
Collaborate with PCTs, SNEs and unit secretaries for seamless unit operations
Document accurately using Meditech system to ensure top-quality records
Float to inpatient units, CCU and ED as needed to support hospital-wide care
Perform or assist with bedside procedures to make a real difference daily

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience
BLS certification required
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Team player ready to manage patient loads effectively

Education

RN licensure from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Med Surg and Ortho patient care expertise
Proficiency with Meditech documentation
Teamwork and patient-centered care strategies
Experience with PCT and LPN collaboration
