Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, FT 3 shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate labor and delivery care to mothers and newborns
Monitor fetal heart rates and manage inductions with confidence
Handle C-sections, couplet care, and newborn transitions smoothly
Respond swiftly to OB emergencies like shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
Perform newborn assessments and support families through every milestone
Collaborate with experienced RNs in a true LDRP team environment

Qualifications

RN license in good standing
2+ years of labor and delivery experience
BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring training required
Comfortable with high-acuity OB scenarios and couplet care

Education

Valid RN license
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in mother-baby labor and recovery
Proficient in newborn receiving, transition, and assessment
Skilled in managing inductions, C-sections, and OB emergencies
Familiarity with fetal monitoring, Pitocin, and cervidil
Experience with procedures like vacuum/forceps deliveries and circumcisions
