Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care and interventions to patients across acuity levels
• Operate and manage mechanical ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment with confidence
• Perform patient assessments, monitor respiratory status, and adjust treatments as needed
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Complete required documentation and demonstrate competency via Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards, including fit testing and immunization requirements
• Support patient and family education around respiratory care and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapy license or certification with License/Certificate Verification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
• Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to meet health and screening requirements (Fit Test, immunizations, 10-panel drug screen, TB testing, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a team in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Foundational expertise in respiratory therapy principles and patient assessment
• Experience with ventilator management and airway support
• Competence in emergency respiratory interventions and ACLS/BLS protocols
• Familiarity with competency testing processes (Trinity Specialty testing and skills checklist)
• Ability to follow protocols for infection control, fit testing, and immunization requirements
