Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips each shift
- Provide compassionate care for patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, and post-cath needs
- Support patients recovering from total joint replacements
- Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to deliver excellent care
- Float to East Campus and PCU when qualified to support team needs
- Document care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score within two attempts
- Experience reading basic telemetry strips
- Some background with CVA and TIA patients preferred
- Total joint replacement experience is a plus
- Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Comfort with BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments
- Understanding of set-rate drips like Diltiazem/Cardizem
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Flexibility to float between units when needed
